Abaya

The (cloak) and more commonly Abaya especially in literary Arabic is a simple loose over garment, essentially a robe-like dress worn by some people in the Muslim world including North Africa and the Arabian peninsula.

They are normally black and may be either a large square of fabric draped from the shoulder or head or a long caftan. The Abaya covers the whole body except the face.

Kim Kardarshian Inspired Look

It was a wedding ceremony over the weekend and the dress code was either all white or all black affairs. I decided to do something out of the ordinary, so I chose to go the Kardarshian way of dressing.

As a blogger and a stylist you need to be versatile in all you do. I decided to give this a try and guess what? It worked perfectly on me. White is indeed pure and lovely. I guess Kim got nothing on me. Try this and get inspired as well.

Palazzo Pants

They are extremely trendy and great to wear with any outfit for ladies.

These pants can be worn with crop tops, lace tops, simple shirts, tank tops etc. It’s preferable to wear dark tones, colourful print, floral print, animal print etc.

I chose the black lace top to match mine because; it had more than two colours in the print so the top must be a plain colour in order for the beauty or the colour of the print to pop out.

WHERE CAN YOU WEAR THIS TO? Parties, friends hung out, church / office ( the top must not be revealing then) etc.

Ankara

It's no news that the African prints is accepted globally and is been used in so many creative ways by top designers and fashion house, and there's no limit to its usage.

My two different Ankara prints was designed and tailored into this gathered skirt and top for me.

This idea of putting together different but similar colors of print was actually my idea and the designer actually delivered. Get inspire also by trying out two different fabrics and see how it turns out to be.

Canvas looks great if you want the sporty cum casual looks. Miniskirts or shorts can look very cute. Team it up with a nice well fitted shirt.

Choose footwear that goes with looks you want to give yourself. I decide to give mine a different looks by paring my shirts and footwear with my blusajupe tube top made with the African print and it worked perfectly well

Maxi

With so many different codes out there, it can be difficult to know what to wear out there even when type of dress is requested or stated.

This long maxi outfit of mine was specially designed for me by Melanie__Crane to one of my church member’s baby christening. The code was white and burgundy but I actually choose to go all burgundy to stand out amongst them.

Guess what happened? I over stood out. It was just amazing and a colourful program. Am actually in love with my outfit.
